This Yale Smart Lock has a retrofit design that's great for renters

The Yale Approach comes with either just a Wi-Fi module or both a Wi-Fi module and a keypad, depending on the bundle you purchase. The Wi-Fi bridge connects to the lock and your Wi-Fi network, allowing you to control it remotely. The keypad goes outside your door, allowing you to enter your home by simply entering a PIN code.
